Every Sunday, GenU SLO teens head out to the organic farm for a day that’s anything but ordinary. We plant strawberries, clear old irrigation lines, and prep the soil for new crops—all while learning about sustainability and teamwork. It’s hard work, but there’s something amazing about seeing the farm transform as we work side by side.
What makes these Sundays special isn’t just the farming. It’s the connections we build—sharing stories, learning new skills, and working together toward something bigger. At the farm, it’s not just about growing food; it’s about growing a stronger, more united community.
Under the California sun, we’re not just teens with rakes and shovels—we’re part of something that makes a difference.
